Emerging Trends in Humanities and Social Sciences: Navigating New Frontiers
The 21st century has been marked as an emerging epoch of new discourses with a dynamic change of intellectual, methodological, epistemological and critical avenues of research to address the swiftly changing nuances of social, political, economic, personal and professional lives of human beings all over the world. Researchers have embraced innovative approaches, methodologies and pedagogies to navigate the new complex frontiers of 21st Century. As the world grapples with multifaceted challenges such as climate change, economic inequality, and global health crises, the need for innovative approaches to economic development has become more urgent than ever. In this context, the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences proposes to organize a conference on “Emerging Trends in Humanities and Social Sciences: Navigating New Frontiers”. The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue among scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students to explore sustainable economic models that promote growth while preserving environmental integrity. It also aims to explore and disseminate new ideas on the emerging trends in Humanities and Social Sciences. This conference will provide a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and foster innovative ideas and collaborations.

Submission Guidelines
Abstract submission: Please submit an abstract within 300-500 words outlining the objectives, methods and relevance of your proposed paper. A brief bio-note of the author(s) should be included. Mention your name, affiliation and contact details.
All submissions should be in Times New Roman font, size 12, following the MLA 9th edition (for Humanities) or APA 7th edition (for Social Sciences) citation style, and in Word format. Please ensure that your file name is in the format: fullname_ETH_abstract (for Humanities) and fullname_ETSS_abstract (Social Sciences). The same applies to the subject of the mail. Abstract acceptance notification: 30th January, 2025
Last date for registration: 5th February, 2025
Full paper submission: Selected abstracts will be notified to submit full papers. Papers should be about 5000 words, in Times New Roman font, size 12, formatted according to MLA 9th edition (for Humanities) or APA 7th edition (for Social Sciences) citation style, and in Word format.
Publication Scope: Selected papers from the conference will be published in Scopus indexed journals.
Registration Fees:
Faculty members: Rs. 2200/- (in-person presentation), Rs. 2000/- (online)
Research Scholars: Rs. 1800/- (in-person presentation), Rs. 1500/- (online)
Post-Graduate Students: Rs. 1000/- (in-person presentation and online)
Note: We are unable to provide travelling allowance and accommodation. In-person presenters are requested to arrange their own travel and lodging.
