Call for Chapters for edited book on Indian Knowledge System
Dear Scholars and Academicians,
We are pleased to announce a call for articles for a forthcoming book focusing on Indian Knowledge System (IKS), which will explore the depth and diversity of India’s ancient wisdom, traditions, and knowledge frameworks. The book aims to bridge the gap between the traditional and contemporary relevance of the Indian Knowledge System, highlighting its interdisciplinary applications and global significance.
The book will be published by a renowned publishing house and will have a ISBN, ensuring wide visibility and dissemination of your work among global academia and researchers.
Suggested Themes
Authors are invited to contribute original, unpublished articles on the following (but not limited to) themes:
Philosophical Foundations of Indian Knowledge System
Scientific and Technological Contributions in Ancient India
Vedic Corpus and Its Relevance in Modern Context
Role of Sanskrit in Knowledge Frameworks
Mathematics, Astronomy, and Architecture in Ancient India
Medicine and Health Practices in Indian Traditions

Submission Guidelines
Word Limit: 4000-6000 words (excluding references).
Format: MLA style citation; Times New Roman, font size 12, double-spaced.
Originality: Submissions must be original and free from plagiarism (checked via software).
Deadline: Complete Article (by 10th May, 2025)
Submission Mode: Articles must be submitted as a Word document to shwetasharma@mait.ac.in.
Review Process: All submissions will undergo a peer-review process to ensure quality and relevance.
Key Instructions
Include innovative and original ideas. Articles should not merely summarize existing knowledge but contribute new perspectives or applications.
Avoid plagiarism. Proper acknowledgment of sources is mandatory.
Provide an abstract of 200–250 words along with keywords by 25th March, 2025.
Include a brief author bio (maximum 100 words) mentioning your designation, affiliation, and areas of expertise.
**Selected abstracts for full paper publication shall be informed by 10th April,2025.**
