CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

Everything Fab Four Fest: RUBBER SOULNovember 6-8, 2025, Asbury Park, NJBerkeley Oceanfront Hotel

You are cordially invited to submit abstracts and/or panel suggestions for an international symposium devoted to the life, work, and influence of the Beatles, particularly in relation to their legendary album RUBBER SOUL (1965). The festivities will include a host of well-known speakers, journalists, and musicians.

Please note that this is a call for presentations, rather than a call for papers. We’re looking for thought-provoking discussions and commentary about the group and their groundbreaking LP. Speakers are encouraged to present multimedia talks whenever possible. With the very high caliber of special guests we’ll soon be announcing, we are hopeful of establishing a highly engaged, TED-style audience for our presentations.

Subsequent opportunities for publication will be made possible with a special journal issue and an edited anthology.

Abstracts should be 150-250 words in length. Full-panel submissions are also encouraged. Please note that presentations are not limited to RUBBER SOUL. Subjects may also include 1960s history, politics, culture, fashion, literature, and other bands associated with 1960s music. Other allied topics and perspectives are also welcome. The deadline for abstract submission is May 15th. For more information, contact Ken Womack at kennethawomack@icloud.com. Submit abstracts and panel ideas to Ken at kennethawomack@icloud.com. You can reserve your hotel room for November now with this link to receive our discounted rate!
