Comparative Woman is an online journal affiliated with LSU’s Department of Comparative Literature that explores topics related to comparative literature and women/gender studies through art and academic essays.Comparative Woman Journal is inviting papers for Volume 4, Issue 1 (2025) on Aesthetic Education: From Sensibility to Critical Engagement.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

We welcome a diverse range of scholarly and creative contributions, including:

  • Scholarly Articles (2,500-4,000 words)
  • Creative Writing - Poetry and Short Fiction (20 pages max)
  • Book Review (1,000-2,500 words) 

Please include your full name, affiliation, contact information, and a brief bio (100 words) in the paper. All written submissions should be provided in Word document format (.doc or .docx) and must adhere to MLA style (9th edition) for citations and formatting.
