Calling all children's literature scholars! The Children's Literature panel at the Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association conference is accepting papers until June 30th or when the panel is filled. The Children's Literature and Culture session invites submissions on a wide range of topics relating to children’s literature and culture, including novels, picture books, graphic novels, films, theme parks, games, or theatrical performances intended for, produced by, or consumed by children. Paper proposals are welcome on a wide variety of topics related to childhood studies, spaces of childhood, children's television or film, and children's literature or culture.

Proposals that address the conference theme of "Palimpsests: Memory and Oblivion" are most welcome, including works that explore memory, forgetting, the past, adaptation, cultural erasures, historical depictions, and nostalgia.
