'The Soliloquist Journal' seeks submissions of poems and soliloquies for Fall 2025 issue

Theme for Fall 2025 issue: "Voices in Transition”

This theme explores moments of change, transformation, and evolution in our
personal and collective experiences - whether it's seasonal transitions, life
phases, social changes, or internal shifts in perspective.

SUBTHEMES:

• Threshold Moments - Exploring those pivotal instances when one phase of life ends and another begins

• Seasonal Metamorphoses - How natural cycles mirror personal transformation and growth

• Geographies of Change - Physical relocations, migrations, and how place shapes identity

• Generational Voices - Passing of wisdom, changing perspectives between age groups

• Silent Transformations - Internal shifts that happen gradually and almost imperceptibly

• Rituals and Rites - Ceremonies, traditions, and milestones that mark transition

• Bridges and Boundaries - Crossing from one state of being to another

• Echoes of Before - How past experiences reverberate through periods of change

• Emergence - The moment when something new comes into being or consciousness

• Inherited Change - How transformation gets passed down through families, cultures, or communities

Submission Guidelines

• Send up to 5 poems (no more than 40 lines each).

• Include a brief bio in third person (50–70 words).

• Submissions must be original and unpublished.
