Concept Note
In the contemporary world, growing prevalence of territorial disputes is deeply embedded within international politics. Thus, the study of contested territories has become significantly important at the moment across the world. These territories, which are frequently contested inside or between nations, are informed by a complex interaction of cultural identities, resource competitiveness, historical grudges, and strategic interests resulting in geopolitical shifts. Through a comprehensive lens, this conference aims to analyze these contested lands from an all-encompassing perspective. In other words, this seminar aims to understand different contested lands through interdisciplinary approaches. It also intends to identify myriad factors leading to contestation of lands and its impact on local, national as well as the international politics.
Submission Guidelines

We invite proposals for presentation (max. 15 minutes duration) in the form of abstract (between 100 to 300 words), accompanied by a brief CV of the presenter (max. 80 words) by 31.10.2025.

In case of presentation made by joint authors, each of them should get registered separately.

Registration fees to be paid is as follows:
Paper Presenters: Faculty- ₹ 700 /-
Research Scholars- ₹ 500 /-
UG/PG Students- 400/-
Participants only: ₹ 300 /-

Selected papers from the seminar (virtual) will be published as edited collection with ISBN/Journal Issue afterwards. Further details in this regard will be communicated to interested presenters.
