The Anaïs Nin Foundation and Nexus: The International Henry Miller Journal are pleased to announce the inaugural Anaïs Nin Essay Prize. We are seeking submissions of scholarly essays centered on the work, influence, relationships, or legacy of Anaïs Nin. Essays should aim to extend the academic conversation around her contributions to literature, art, and culture.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• · Length: 5,000–10,000 words
• · Format: MLA style with complete citations
• · Language: English
• · Original work only: Essays must not have been previously published 
• · No AI-generated content: Entrants must certify that no artificial intelligence was used in drafting, writing, or editing their essay
• · Electronic submission through Nexus (submission portal information forthcoming)

All three winning essays will be published in the next edition of Nexus: The International Henry Miller Journal, in September 2026.
