International Congress on Narrative and Aesthetics in Film, Series, TV, and Audiovisual Experimentation
The International Congress on Narrative and Aesthetics in Film, Series, TV, and Audiovisual Experimentation is a platform for discussion and dissemination of studies and projects related to audiovisual creation in its various areas of production and distribution. It encompasses research related to cinematography and film history across a wide range of fields (sociology, industry, aesthetics, etc.), formats (fiction, documentary, animation, music videos, etc.), and genres (from thrillers and comedies to the connections between film and comics or video games). It also includes studies related to series and television production (creation and management models, distribution platforms, audiences, etc.), as well as research related to video art, experimental creation, and transmedia initiatives (interactive works, creative models using AI, virtual reality, VJing, etc.).
PARTICIPATION
The Congress will be held online, on the event's own platform, on March 26 and 27, 2026. There will be two ways to participate:
OPTION 1: Tirant Lo Blanch publishing house.
1) Presentation of the paper at the Congress online.
2) Certificate of Communication and Attendance.
3) Proceedings book with ISBN.
4) Academic publication in the Tirant Lo Blanch publishing house (1st in the absolute General Index of SPI) with book chapter with ISBN and in Open Access format for research monographs (in the case of this publishing house with online download six months after the date of publication).
OPTION 2: Editions University of Salamanca
1) Presentation of the paper at the Congress online.
2) Certificate of Communication and Attendance.
3) Proceedings book with ISBN.
4) Academic publication in Editions University of Salamanca (first quartile in the absolute General Index of SPI) with book chapter with ISBN and in Open Access format for research monographs.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The deadline for submission of abstracts for both options is March 2, 2026 (inclusive).
Oral papers and their abstracts may be submitted in Spanish or English; and their reading during the Congress should not exceed 15 minutes.
