Immersive Threads: Narrative, Participation, and the Making of Experiential Worlds
How do narrative and participation become interwoven within immersive environments? How do we, as participants, become threads within experiential artworks, installations, museums, performances, digital platforms, or urban spaces?
This panel invites submissions that examine immersion not simply as technological spectacle, but as a relational and embodied practice—shaped by memory, identity, movement, sensory design, and spatial encounter. We are especially interested in proposals that explore:
-The construction, disruption, or transformation of narrative within immersive spaces
-The role of the participant in shaping meaning
-Embodied and phenomenological approaches to storytelling
-Museum and visitor-centered practices
-Participatory and community-engaged art
-Haptic, spatial, and multimodal environments
-Interdisciplinary approaches to narrative, design, and form
Whether your work engages installation, performance, digital environments, museum practice, urban intervention, or theoretical frameworks, I welcome proposals that push us to think expansively about how experiential worlds are made—and unmade.
Please consider submitting your abstract and sharing with others who might be interested. Full conference details and submission guidelines can be found at:

The Call for Papers is currently open, and the deadline to submit abstracts is April 1st.
I look forward to the conversation and to reading your proposals!
