Call for Book Chapters

Theme: Prisms of Interpretation: Analysing Literature in English

Multani Mal Modi College is pleased to announce a call for chapter contributions for an upcoming book publication. The theme of the proposed volume is:

‘Prisms of Interpretation: Analysing Literature in English’

The edited book intends to read literature in English through diverse fields of inquiry. It delves into the evolution of critical interrogation from traditional readings to contemporary interpretations. It invites contributions from readers of literature available in English (originally written in English or translated from any regional language) and encourages them to write original chapters based on their research.

All faculty members and research scholars are encouraged to contribute chapters and take advantage of this opportunity to engage in meaningful academic discourse and publication.

Important Dates
•Chapter Proposal/Abstract Submission Deadline: 10th May, 2026
•Notification of Acceptance: 15th May, 2026
•Full Chapter Submission Deadline: 5th June, 2026

Publication Fees
Faculty: 250 INR
Research Scholar/ Student: 150 INR

Plagiarism
The selected chapters will be required to submit Plagiarism report and Declaration form. The formats will be shared after selection.

Submission Guidelines
•Original, unpublished work only.
•Word Limit: 2500-4000 words
•Format: MS Word, Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing
•Follow MLA 9th Edition for citations and references.
