* Topics are wide open - and include all the wonderful NSFMIH conversations and explorations we have celebrated together these past 11 years!
In 2026, they could also include (these are just some examples):
- The Possibilities for Belonging in Honors Colleges and Programs- The freshmen honors experience: exploring a variety of experiences
- Human Rights and Empathy in Honors Education- Multifaceted Honors for a Multifaceted Education
- Advising heterogenous honors student populations- Undergraduate research: fairness, participation and difference in UG research
- Civility and honors education: exploring difficult subjects
- Modes of supporting students, faculty and staff from all backgrounds in Honors    Education
- Advancing honors education in the age of AI: honesty, integrity and the pursuit of truth
- Serving populations through honors service and community engagement
- First Generation students and the honors education experience- Teaching connectedness in Honors today . . . And more . . . !  (all topic proposals welcome) The conference will be held in person in The Young Honors College, Oak View Hall, Oakland University, Michigan.   (just outside Detroit)

NSFMIH 11th Annual Conference theme: Possibility! 

Single person presentations: 15 minutes  (and 5 minutes Q&A)or
Panels or workshops: (usually 3+ people) 60 minutes (including 15 minutes Q&A)
