The 2027 PCA conference theme is "Revolutions & Revisions in Popular Culture." It is a topic that should seem especially appropriate to anyone looking at Shakespeare film from Zeffirelli through the 1990s when Branagh, Luhrmann, and others made Shakespeare box office mainstream.  Feel free to develop a topic that considers issues of transformation, innovation, resistance, or cultural change.
