Midwest ASECS 2010 CFP - deadline extended to Aug 10
The proposal deadline for individual papers and full panels (no partial panels, please) has been extended to Tuesday, August 10 for this year's meeting of the Midwestern American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (MWASECS) in Wichita, Kansas, September 30-October 2 2010.
A regional affiliate of the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies, the MWASECS will hold this year's conference in The Hotel at Old Town in downtown Wichita, (310) 267-4800. The hotel was built over a century ago as the Keep Kutter building, and the elegant exterior looks virtually as it did in 1906. Our accommodations include Queen Studios (with kitchens) for $116 per night and a free breakfast buffet. Registration will include a Thursday cocktail reception and a Friday-night plenary banquet.
Papers on all topics related to the "long" eighteenth century are welcome at this interdisciplinary meeting. Please submit abstracts or full papers to
