The Massacre at Paris Between English and French Perspectives

This article examines the English dramatist Christopher Marlowe's accounts on the Saint Bartholome's Day Massacre in comparison to two French playwrights. There is strong evidence that Marlowe may have used accounts from the French playwrights. There is examination of characters involved in the three plays on the massacre.
