The Women's and Gender Studies Caucus (WGSC) of the Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA) welcomes session proposals (panel, roundtable, seminar) for the 2015 Convention in Toronto ON Canada, April 30 – May 3. The deadline for submission is April 22, 2014, and the online proposal form will be available mid-March. Please see

Please note that these are for session topics only. NeMLA does not accept pre-formed sessions. The full Call for Papers for approved sessions will be available online in June. The abstract submission deadline of individual papers for approved sessions will be September 30, 2014.

2014 NeMLA membership is required to propose a session, which is separate from 2015 Convention fees.

For 2015, NeMLA particularly welcomes proposals on the following topics:
- digital humanities
- urban ecology/the city
- poetry/the word
- madness/disability
- diversity
-visual cultures/photography and language

Other topics that reflect current research interests in the area of women's and gender studies are also welcome.
