Now inviting paper abstracts for a proposed panel on Relics in Early Modern England (or Early Modern Europe) for the Sixteenth Century Studies Conference in New Orleans, October 16-19, 2014. Possible topics include (but are not limited to) reliquaries as art objects, forms of relic devotion, anti-relic polemic, relics in drama or literature. Please send a 250 word abstract and a brief bio (or cv) to Holly Pickett, picketth@wlu.edu by March 17, 2014. We can then collaborate on a panel proposal due to SCSC by April 1, 2014.
