Nordic folklore and literature have long been the province of works that weave the legendary, mythic, mystical and magical in text, art, music and song. Proposals are sought from all the Nordic countries that focus on the use of magic, conjuring, spirits, hauntings, Spiritualism, and manifestations as well as presentations that treat the familiar, familial, and the commonplace in relation to the paranormal, strange, and uncanny. Paper proposals on other aspects of Nordic literature and culture are welcome as well.

Please note: All Proposals must be submitted through the PAMLA conference web pages by May 15. You may email the session organizer with queries, but the proposals must go through the official system.
