Call for Essay Contributions -- The International Encyclopedia of
Revolution and Protest, 1500-Present

This eight-volume, 5,000-page, peer-reviewed work, to be published by
Blackwell next year is intended to become “the definitive reference work on
the role of popular agency in transforming the world in which we live.”

We are in the process of dramatically expanding the Encyclopedia’s coverage
of anarchism. To that end, we are soliciting essay contributions on the
topics listed below.

considering a broad range of literary and composition topics for its
annual conference. The NJCEA brings together those interested in
language, literature, pedagogy, and other aspects of the teaching and
study of literature and writing.

passed, the recent news of SFRA's change of venue for SFRA 2008 has
prompted the IAFA to revise its deadline for paper proposals for ICFA-29.
The new deadline is December 15th.]

The call for papers for the new, international, peer-reviewed online
journal "Eludamos. Journal for Computer Game Culture" is now open.
Submissions are expected to be in English and to include full papers plus
abstracts. Please note that we can only consider papers which have not been
previously published and which are not under consideration for another
journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

The 18th Annual EGSA Mardi Gras Conference invites papers for the proposed
panel,
“Artists on Their Arts.” We are seeking 15 minute papers that consider
artists who comment on their own craft. Papers should situate the artists’
perspective amongst a larger tradition of critical inquiries, and consider
the specific relevance of those authors’ theories on their own work,
keeping in mind the unique position of the author-critic.

forms about which we feel excessive love or hate?
