CFP: Our Watery World: Humans and the Sea (1/6/07; collection)

The Caribbean Chapter of the College English Association (CEA-CC) plans
to
publish the proceedings of its Fall 2006 conference on "Our Watery
World: Humans and the Sea."
We are seeking an additional 5-7 papers to supplement this volume.
We are particularly interested in papers that address the following
topics:
a.. The Sea in History
a.. The Life Aquatic: Amphibian and Aquatic Animals
a.. Monsters and Monstrosities of the Sea
a.. Ecocriticism: The Endangered Sea
a.. The Sea as Frontier
a.. Empire and the Sea

Papers (3000-10,000 words) should follow the format specified on our
webpage here:

and be sent electronically to cea_caribbeanchapter_at_hotmail.com by 6
January 2007 with "Our Watery World: Proceedings" as the subject line of
