For the next issue of TOPIC, we are soliciting critical essays on fairy tales, either studies of classic tales or modern retellings, transformations, and refashionings (for adults or children, in poetry or prose, for film/television/web or print).
Essays should be well researched and argued, accessible to an educated reader, and written in a clear, engaging style.

Length: 4000-6000 words, including endnotes.
Style: Chicago, 15th edition (MLA or other styles are fine for submission)
Send completed essays as attachments by 1 September 2013; Word files preferred.
