Submit paper, or abstract, (including the title of the presentation) to the Contemporary Studies Area on the Submissions website(submissions.mpcaaca.org).

Individuals may only submit one paper, and please do not submit the same item to more than one Area.

Deadline for receipt of proposals is April 30, 2015.

The panel seeks papers that examines the different theoretical approaches to memory. Papers should situate the current preoccupation with memory in relation to questions of identity, expound on the understanding of the memorial as sites of politics, (re)presentations of memory and trauma.
