We are pleased to inform you that Dr. R.C. Prasad Memorial Committee has taken the decision to invite scholarly research articles from reputed scholars in order to publish a Festschrift in the memory of the Late Dr. R.C. Prasad, who was a great teacher a prolific writer and translator- all rolled into one. He was Head of the Department of English, Patna Univesity, Patna, Pro-Vice-chancellor, Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur and Principal, Patna College, Patna. Dr. Prasad was an M.A. (Pat.), Ph.D. (Edin) and D. Litt. (Pat). He has authored two novels - The Mahatma and Udare Majhe, two volumes of short stories, and a number of critical books. Some of them are –

Early British Travellers in India has earned encomiums all over the globe and is mentioned in the Cambridge History of English Literature. For Adhunika Hindi Ka Alochana par Paschatya Prabhava Patna University conferred on him the degree of D. Litt. in 1967.
