"Circulating Notions of TB"

Conference papers invited that examine the representation of patients' experiences with tuberculosis in imaginative, digital, and other texts.

How do these narratives, metaphors, or images intersect with or even actively shape public behavior, public health initiatives, public thought, or other things "public" (like public personas)?

Ideally, I'd like this panel to explore notions of TB and their public circulation, broadly construed, from within various historical and national contexts.

Send 300-word abstracts to Amy Rubens, PhD at arubens@fmarion.edu by March 15.
